Assessing spatial and temporal variability

Unfortunately, soils are not homogenous and assessing their variability is challenging and often expensive, as it requires more resources for testing and other related services.

Therefore, in open field agriculture it is important to have a good understanding of the field variability in order to know which area of the field needs a particular treatment. However, single-time assessments are often not enough if the goal is the long term efficiency and success of the farm. Having tools that help keep track of the behaviour of the fields during agricultural cycles can help determine the cause and effect of certain actions, and have an immensely positive impact.

At SMART Fertilizer Software we believe that technology can make our lives easier, and we believe we have found the right partner to help farmers and agronomists remotely assess their crop health by using satellite imagery.
That is why we are happy to announce that we have teamed up with VULTUS, who will help us by providing variable rate applications of Nitrogen and remote detection of crop stresses by analysing automatically multispectral images.

At SMART Fertilizer Software we are always looking for new ways to help agriculture with technology: by providing the best tools to improve the accuracy of the services we provide, and by helping growers and agronomists to make the right decisions.

  • Recommends the ideal fertilizer mixture/ blends
  • Saves up to 50% on fertilizer costs
  • Comprehensive data on hundreds of crop varieties
  • Interprets test results for any extraction method
